I wish there was an extra star to give out!Exceptional service, exceptional food, exceptional portions, exceptional value for money - my partner and I HAD to come back after our first visit even if we had to drive over an hour. It's totally worth it. If you are around central Italy, you HAVE to eat at Martinelli - no discussion.

Great place for food in the mountains! Close to Monte Nerone. Amazing family style service and extraordinary foods. Much of it 100% homemade. Meat lovers will enjoy this place specially

The food here is out of this world and the service is 10Of you want to taste authentic Italian food l, this is the place to come.Be aware that of you want to come on Sunday you need to make a reservation sometimes with couple of months in advance. But the experience worth it.PS: you have to come here on empty stomach to eat all that they serve you

Awesome food. Not at all expensive. You typically need to reserve weeks before. I am Italian and don't know if they speak English, but they are super kind and so I expect it to be easy to communicate anyway.Every day they have few antipasti, typically: several types of hams, bacon and cheese; lamb's coratella (10/10), coda alla vaccinara, trippa. They will give you all of this: you just have to say how much.Then you will choose two or three pasta first courses. For example boars sauce pappardelle (10/10), carbonara's paccheri (10/10), truffle's passatelli.Then, if you are still capable to ask for a second course, there are their meats. Beef (fiorentina, tagliata), lamb, pork (sausages, costicine). All of them incredibly good.The house wine is much more high level than you would expect, and also the local beer is quite good.Dessert is very high quality.The price is very cheap. We payed less than 40 euros per person.I usually live in another region, and was near the place for holiday, but I am more than willing to do a 3 hour drive to eat here again.Love, love, love.
